Bangladesh vs England on March 12

Bangladesh will take the stage alongside England in the second game of the three-match T20I series on Sunday, March 12 at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. The hosts are coming into the game high in confidence, having trumped the power-packed England side by six wickets. They would look to play in the same vein in the second T20I and seal the series. England, on the other hand, would be disappointed with their showing in the previous game. They were not at their vintage self and as a result, are on the verge of a T20I series defeat in Bangladesh. Jos Buttler & Co. would look to put their best foot forward on the Sunday clash and conquer the Bangla Tigers.

Best economical pick – The young Bangladeshi middle-order batter Nazmul Hossain Shanto smashed a match-winning knock of 51 off just 30 in the first T20I. He has now recorded four fifties in his last five overall innings.

Top captains & vice captains – Jos Buttler was quite magnificent in the first T20I as he put up an exhibition of his swashbuckling stroke play and plundered 67 runs in 42 deliveries. The England skipper has looked in pristine touch and it would not be a surprise if he displays yet another batting masterclass in the coming game. Shakib Al Hasan has been simply sensational with the ball in the ongoing white-ball series against England. In the 50-over leg, he bagged six wickets in three games at an economy of 4.80. The veteran all-rounder showed his class in the first T20I too and finished the game with stellar figures of 4-0-26-1. He is in good form and could weave his magic in the second encounter.

Smart pick – The young English wicketkeeper-batter Philip Salt started well and scored crucial 38 runs off 35 balls in the first T20I. Salt has scored 100 runs from his last five innings and should be in the Fantasy Team at any cost.

Cautious Pick – The star Bangladeshi pacer Mustafizur Rahman took a wicket but conceded 34 runs in the first game. He has taken just four wickets in his last five overall innings and should be avoided for this game.

My XI – Jos Buttler (Captain), Shakib al Hasan (Vice-Captain), Adil Rashid, Dawid Malan, Litton Das, Sam Curran, Najmul Hasan Shanto, Will Jacks, Philip Salt, Nasum Ahmed, Jofra Archer
