Bangladesh vs England on March 6

Bangladesh will clash against England in the third ODI match at Chattogram's Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Monday (March 6). England won the second match by 132 runs to seal a three-match away series to end their poor run of form in ODIs. Jason Roy smashed a brilliant century, and Captain Jos Buttler added 76 off 64 to post a big 326 runs while batting first. Taskin Ahmed took three wickets, while spin all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz bagged two for the hosts. Sam Curran took three early wickets and one more at the end of the innings, while Adil Rashid dominated the middle overs with four wickets to bowl out Bangladesh on just 194 runs. Star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan top-scored with 58 off 69 balls for Bangladesh, but the likes of Tamim Iqbal and Litton Das struggled. With the series already sealed, England will likely make a few changes to their playing XI for the last ODI.

Best economical pick – The veteran English batter Dawid Malan scored just 11 runs off 19 balls in the last match but played a memorable match-winning knock of 114* off 145 in the opening game. Malan remains England's top-ranked batter in ODIs with two centuries in his last three innings.

Top captains & vice captains – English skipper Jos Buttler scored a crucial 76 off 64 in the second ODI to continue his red-hot form in white-ball cricket. Buttler scored 261 runs in three ODIs against South Africa and now has scored one century and two big fifties in his last five ODI innings. He has scored five half-centuries in eight ODIs against Bangladesh and will be expected to be the best batter. The world no.1 ODI all-rounder Shakib al Hasan took Jason Roy's valuable wicket and then top-scored 58 off 69 for his team in the last ODI. Shakib has scored 89 runs and has taken four wickets in his last five overall innings.

Smart pick – Adil Rashid took four wickets to dismantle Bangladesh's middle order in the second match and now has six wickets from two ODIs in this series. He surpassed Stuart Broad to become England's third-highest leading wicket-taker in ODIs with 181 wickets from just 118 innings. Chattogram's pitch is expected to offer further help for the spinners and Rashid will be looking to end the series on a high note.

Cautious Pick – The young Bangladesh batter Afif Hossain scored 23 runs off 33 balls in the last game and only nine runs in the opening ODI. He has scored just 48 runs from his last four overall innings and should be avoided for this game.

My XI – Jos Buttler (Captain), Shakib al Hasan (Vice-Captain), Adil Rashid, Dawid Malan, Litton Das, Taijul Islam, Tamim Iqbal, Jason Roy, Taskin Ahmed, Rehan Ahmed, Sam Curran
